GET TO KNOW ME

and meet Light

Hi, my name is Kim.  Welcome to my page.  As you get to know me, you will learn I love animals.  Not only do I have several pets of my own but I have been a fury foster mom for several years. I’m dedicated to ensuring every animal in my care has a safe & happy environment.  As my fosters have moved on to their new homes I started inviting them to return and stay with me while their new families traveled.

Lightening was the foster that taught me that not everyone is up to the task of caring for rescue or senior dogs. Lightening was a 12-year-old Great Dane who stayed with us for almost 2 years.  Not only was she 12 but she had degenerative disc disease which limited her mobility.  She received daily injections, daily pills, and needed help getting in and out of the house.   I traveled only once while Lightening was with us.  I started to question what families like ours do.  It didn't take me long to realize that most do what we did - they don't travel.

Everyone deserves time away and I hope you will trust me with your love one.
